AEDC: Current Power Outage In Parts Of Abuja And Nasarawa State To Be Restored Today 3:00pm
The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has given reason for power outage being experienced currently by customers in parts of FCT, Abuja, and Nasarawa State, promising power restoration this evening.
According to Public Notice pasted on its Facebook page entitled “Power Outage Alert!,” the distribution company listed affected areas to include: Karu, Nyanga, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, Orozo, Karshi, Mararaba, Ado, New Nyanya, New Karu, Uke, Masaka, Auta Balaifi, Keffi, Nasarawa Eggon and environs.
AEDC explained that the current power outage is due to a “technical fault on the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) 132KV Apo-karu-line 1.”
It assured customers that the technical team of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) is currently working to restore power supply around 3:00pm today, Wednesday 10th June, 2026.
While regretting the inconvenience the power outage may cause customers, AEDC said it appreciate their patience and understanding.
