The ruling party in Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has released timetable for its Primary Election scheduled to take place next month May, pegging Presidential forms at the highest cost of ₦100 million, followed by Governorship forms at ₦50 million.
The party however, said that sale of forms begins at the APC National Secretariat from Saturday, 25th April to Saturday 2nd May, 2026.
According to the comprehensive timetable, primary election for the Presidential Election will hold from Friday, 15th to Saturday, 16th May, 2026.
The House of Representatives will hold their own on Monday, 18th May, 2026, while Senate will have theirs on Wednesday, 20th May, 2026.
It will be the turn of State House of Assembly to hold their own primary on Thursday 21st May, 2026 while that of the Governorship will take place on Saturday, 23rd May, 2026.
Details of the cost of forms is as follows: i. House of Assembly : ₦6,000, 000.00. ii. House of Reps : ₦10,000,000.00. iii. Senate : ₦20,000,000.00. iv. Governorship : ₦50,000,000.00. v. Presidential : ₦100,000,000.00.
