Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has inaugurated the Chairman and Members of the Governing Board of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), Akwanga.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, Government House, Lafia, with His Royal Highness, Pastor Samson Gamu Yare, the Chun Mada, taking oath of office as the Board Chairman, followed by other Board Members of the Hospital.
Governor Sule while inaugurating the Governing Board, charged them to reposition the health institution for greater and efficient service delivery.
He assured the gathering that his administration remains focused and committed to the establishment and upgrading of health facilities across the state to enable majority of the people have access to quality healthcare at all times.
Responding on behalf of other board members, Chairman of Governing Board, Pastor Gamu Yare thanked the governor for the confidence reposed in them.
The Board Chairman pledged the board’s commitment to working hard and dedicated to their different roles to bring about the desired goals of government in the establishment of the hospital.
The event was well attended by top government officials, traditional rulers and dignitaries from all works of life.
