Nollywood Star Angela Okorie Granted ₦5m Bail Over Cyberstalking Charges

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday 30th January, 2026, over a cybercrime related offences, granted Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, bail in the sum of ₦5 million, with one surety in like sum, who must be a grade level 13 civil servant.

The actress will however, remain in Suleja Correctional Centre where she was earlier on remanded on Wednesday, until she fulfills the bail condition.

Angela Okorie was on Tuesday January 27, 2026, arrested at her Lagos residence  by the operatives of the Nigeria Police Force CyberCrime Center, Abuja. She was put on 6 am flight to Abuja to face court proceedings connected to cybercrime matter involving fellow actress, Mercy Johnson.
