Gov. Sule Presents Staff Of Office To Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku 1, As Aren Eggon.

The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has on Saturday June 13, 2026, presented the Staff of Office to His Royal Highness, Hon. Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku 1, OFR, CJ (Rtd), formally installing him as “Aren Eggon,” the paramount traditional ruler of the Eggon Nation.

The installation ceremony which took place at the Eggon Community Secondary School, Nasarawa Eggon town, was witnessed by a large number of dignitaries from within and outside Nasarawa State, including top government officials, traditional rulers, political and religious leaders, members of the diplomatic and business communities, as well as sons and daughters of the Eggon land, and well wishers.

Speaking during the ceremony, Governor Sule who noted that traditional rulers remain critical to governance and community stability, urged the new monarch to lead with wisdom, justice, fairness, and strong commitment to peace, unity and development of the Eggon Nation.

In his acceptance speech, the new Aren Eggon thanked the governor for his approval and formal presentation of the Staff of Office.

He pledged to rule with fairness and to dedicate himself to the promotion of peace and development of his people, calling on all sons and daughters of the Eggon land to join hands with him, and to be united in the task of building a more stronger, peaceful and prosperous Eggon Nation.
