The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, on Saturday January 24, 2026, officially commissioned the “Mda Sei Gyir” Secretariat Complex, for the Mada Development Association (MDA), a sociocultural organisation of the Mada Nation.
The Secretariat is located along Lafia road, Akwanga, in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The project was built by an illustrious son of the Mada ethnic group, Alhaji Adamu Tanko Umar, Mabudin Andaha, Garkuwa Nunku, and BOT Chairman Garkuwa Unity Forum, Andaha, and donated to the MDA.
It was indeed a historic milestone worth celebrating by the people of Mada, as prominent sons and daughters of the Mada Nation, led by their Royal Father, His Royal Highness, Pastor Samson Gamu Yare, Chun Mada II.
